Crewe Alexandra have signed midfielder Kyle Ure on loan from Celtic. The 20-year-old has penned a season-long deal at Mornflake Stadium.
Background
Ure progressed through Celtic's youth ranks, captaining the club's Under-18s to Scottish Youth Cup victory. He stepped up to Celtic's B team, where he impressed in the UEFA Youth League. The left-footed Scotland Under-21 international spent time on loan with Ayr United in the Scottish Championship last season and was part of Celtic's first team training camp in Portugal recently.
Next Steps
Subject to international clearance, Ure will join Lee Bell's squad at Crewe. He will be under consideration for selection when the Alex welcome Northampton on Saturday at 3pm.
