Crewe Alexandra has learned its EFL Trophy fixture schedule for the 2026/27 competition. The Railwaymen will face Aston Villa Under-21s, Blackpool and Wigan Athletic during the group stage, combining Premier League academy opposition with fellow EFL clubs.
Group Stage Fixtures
Crewe's campaign opens at home to Aston Villa Under-21s on Tuesday, September 22 at Mornflake Stadium, with kick-off at 7pm.
The second fixture takes Crewe to Bloomfield Road to face Blackpool on Tuesday, October 6, also kicking off at 7pm.
The group stage concludes with a home match against Wigan Athletic on Tuesday, November 10 at Mornflake Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 7pm.
