Crewe Alexandra manager Lee Bell believes his side can improve further as the Railwaymen prepare to face Rochdale at Mornflake Stadium on Saturday at 3pm.
The club sits third in League Two after an unbeaten start to the 2026/27 season. Despite that strong run, Bell said there is room for development in attacking play and sustaining pressure on opposition defences.
"There's more to come — definitely through goals and creating chances," Bell said. "There's more to come from the players in terms of how we can sustain attacks as a team. But we're not going to get everything in one go. We've just got to keep on building and keep on working."
Rochdale Form
Rochdale start the match in 10th place, four points behind Crewe. The visitors are unbeaten in their last five league games under their new management team.
Bell acknowledged Rochdale's recent progress. "The new management team have gone in and done a brilliant job. They've played some really good stuff. There are lots of different things for us to look at in terms of how they play."
Head-to-Head Record
Crewe have not lost any of their last five encounters with Rochdale, though four of those matches have finished level.
"They're right on our coattails, so it's an important game for us and one we look forward to," Bell added.
